This house is incredible. Absolutely incredible. First, it’s in a gated community, which gives you an added layer of security. Once you get to the actual house, you’ll quickly realize you never want to leave. There are 2 private docks on the lake, which has clear water and beckons even the most hesitant lake swimmer. We stayed here in October and even though the outside temps were crisp, the water was still as warm as a bathtub. We had so much fun jumping into the lake from the dock after a night of making s’mores over the fire pit. My companions hiked the woods around the lake in the morning while enjoying a perfect view of the sunrise. There are 2 fireplaces and a professionally designed fire pit on the property. We spent 15 minutes our first night picking up kindling from the woods and were set for the entire trip. The last night of our trip was raining so we opted for the fireplace on the first floor screened in deck – which is complete with a swinging lounger! The bedrooms are luxurious, especially the main floor master. The bathroom is breathtaking and the room leads directly to the main floor screened in porch. I did yoga in the morning to a gorgeous view of the lake. The kitchen is flawless, with professional-grade appliances, a wine fridge and a subzero fridge. Amazing! We had everything we needed to cook our meals. The grill is hooked up to a tank under the house, which means you’ll never run out of propane while cooking. It’s on a covered back porch so you can grill no matter the weather. This house was absolutely fantastic, I’ve stayed at places that were rated 5 stars and weren’t 5 stars – this isn’t one of them. This is luxury through and through. Stayed 1 night in Nov 2018
