We LOVED this house!! We had four adult couples getting together for a family get together and the layout allowed plenty of personal space plus loads of options (dining tables, kitchen, porches, living room, fire pit) for bringing everyone together. The place was clean and well-appointed. The neighborhood/cove are quiet; the views are great; the kayaks/paddle boards were a nice benefit; and the binder of local info was very helpful as newbies to the lake.

Thank you to the hosts!!!

Wish we could have stayed longer but we all left with the intent of making our stay at this particular house a regular thing.

We know the lake really well and confidently say that this is the most gorgeous house and setting on the lake. Our expanding family of kids and grandkids had a phenomenal time. After staying here, there’s no reason to go any where else. We found our perfect place and we’ll be back next year for sure!”

“ Phenomenal home and wonderful hosts! Our three kids, and their kids came back for out second year and it keeps on getting better. Since we are so familiar and comfortable with the home it was so easy to transition into vacation mode and just relax and enjoy the grandkids. There’s so much to do. We rented a pontoon boat for the week, toured the lake, tubed the kids, fished a little and just enjoyed cocktail hour at so many different parts of the lake. Cooking for 4 families was a breeze. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could imagine. We had a team in the kitchen and one on the grill deck pitching in every night. Fran and Lynn know everything there is to know about the lake, activities and the surround areas. Thank you both for sharing you home so that we could create these wonderful memories together!”

“ We had a total of 14 people staying (ranging from 11 yrs old to 70 yrs old). This home was perfect on so many levels.

1. Clean and spacious (room for everyone to spread out and have their space) 2. Beautifully decorated 3. Full functional kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances. It had everything we needed to cook hearty meals as a family 4. Quiet and cozy cove – allowing the kids to feel safe at swimming. Almost felt like our own private lake area. Water is so clean and clear (absolutely gorgeous) 5. 4 king size beds was a plus – great for adult couples. Mattresses are very soft. 6. We had a boat and 2 jet skis that we brought to the house. The 2 docks were more than ample room to dock our watercrafts. 7. One of the docks has an angled ladder which allowed my 70 year old mother to join all of us in a swim (the angled ladder is helpful for anyone who has been through any knee surgeries or elderly who have problems in range of motion with their legs) 8. Great location – grocery store is only 13 mins away We enjoyed swimming, boating, tubing, jet skiing, fishing, making SMORES around the fire pit and just relaxing and spending time together as a family.

The owner was super helpful with information about the area and made sure that he presented us with codes and addresses in perfect time of our arrival. Not to mention, he took care of handling storage arrangements for both of our trailers. This is one place that you will not regret booking!”

“ We loved our stay. Have been renting on lake keowee for 10 years. This was our favorite home. Home is in excellent condition. Lots of cooking supplies which we enjoyed. We prefer the north side of the lake so the location was the only down side for us.”

“ Stunning home in every detail! Owners have exquisite taste in lot, style of home, landscaping, home layout, fixtures, lighting, furniture, dock, kitchen wares, etc, etc.! This is a true dream home on Lake Keowee. This beautiful home sits on a very quiet park of the lake and the views from every room are fabulous – landscaping and dock are amazing. This house is tastefully appointed and luxurious but incredibly comfortable surroundings throughout make it extra special. Too much to name – but clearly they thought about every inch and it shows. Loved the furniture, towels, linens, etc. – house was pristine, everything spotless!

We are so grateful to have the opportunity to stay in this luxurious lake house. Thank you, Fran and Lynn!!!”

“ What an amazing home! The location is about a halfway meeting point for us and family in Florida. We had a group of 6 adults and 4 children (ages 3-10) and certainly had plenty of room to spread out. Almost every part of the home has amazing views of the lake. Absolutely love all of the porch room, the swing and the fireplaces. The kitchen is well stocked and has high-end appliances. We rented a boat to explore the lake and had an easy time docking. Absolutely had an amazing time. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!”

“ Property was amazing and wonderful. Had lots of amenities, loved the spices available, all TVs worked well, nothing broken and nicely kept. Kitchen pretty much stocked with anything you would need, so our stay was amazing. Only recommendation to make stay a little easier and this is picky, we don’t always pack shampoo and soap as most of the VRBO properties we stay in supply samples. This is a lake property so I suspect many renters drive there but since we were flying and we carry on it is harder to pack anything over 4oz. Just would be a nice convenience since property is not close to any local store to get simple supplies. Overall a wonderful stay!”

“ My family and I enjoyed 4 days at this beautiful lake house. Living on the coast of South Carolina we have our fair share of beautiful sights but our morning views over the lake were absolutely gorgeous. We have rented many homes on Keowee over the years but have never received such a thorough orientation with all of the suggestions of where to buy food, where to grab lunch and where to hike.

Our group consisted of an age range from 85 to 1. We try to gather each year to celebrate our mom’s birthday. She loves having her 2 daughters and their spouses along with her 5 granddaughters and their significant others and her great grandson under one roof for a few days. This house allowed for plenty of togetherness with the great outdoor spaces and then enough private spaces for each family to have quiet time. We look forward to returning next year.

“ We’ve been coming to the lake for the past 10 years and this is by far the best home we ever rented. The owners mentioned that they redid all the hardwood floors and kitchen cabinets. The house looked like it was brand new and that we were the first to ever rent it. The multiple outdoor spaces were amazing! Its a big house but we shared the house among 4 couples and we each had our own separate wing when we wanted a bit of quite time to relax.

We brought our boat and stored it in the slip in the second dock. How cool is that. Loved the paddle boards, cocktails on the dock and of course it’s lake Keowee the most beautiful lake in the southeast!

Final thing worth mentioning. We hit a couple of rainy days and the host helped us put together an agenda for a few trips. We ultimately drove north to Highlands NC and had a great time shopping and bar hopping. Topped of the day with a round of pool, a nice hot sauna followed by a wood fire in the lower porch. If you can have a great time when on a few rainy threaten your vacation; that really saying something!

“ Meant to text you yesterday, we had a great time! House was perfect. Great to have access to the two boat docks. The house was immaculate.  The family loved the adventure of jumping off the famous jumping rock on Keowee!

We did a couple of day trips, hiking in the mountains and took our boat over to Jocasse and saw Laurel Falls. Beautiful!

Our families had a great time. Overall the home the setting and vacation surpassed all of our expectations! We will be back! Thank you again. You were a phenomenal host. Very helpful through out our whole vacation!”
