“ We were the lucky ones to be the very first to rent this brand new home! We were here with family for Clemson graduation. Lynne was great and I think pulled all nighters to get the house ready for us….and all I can say is she did an amazing job! Everything we needed was provided and was of course brand new! As a designer myself , I can’t think of anything I would change…beautifully appointed from an aesthetic, comfort, and entertaining aspect! From the very comfortable, and plentiful, beds to the kayaks, for a little exercise on the lake, made our stay very enjoyable. “ Not only is lake Keowee one of the most beautiful lakes we’ve ever seen, the house itself is absolutely gorgeous! The first thing we noticed coming into the home was the beautiful, unobstructed views of the lake from the entrance, to the kitchen, to the living room and through the porches! Absolutely beautiful views from every window; from every room in the house! Then when you finally settle down a bit, the rest of the house sort of comes into focus. This is an exquisitely decorated home. The owner, Lynn, left nothing to the imagination. The attention to detail, the unique lighting, the extensive stonework, woodwork, furnishings and decor throughout the house makes you feel like you are a guest in one of the finest resorts in the world! We stayed here for a family reunion. The last one was 10 years ago. We had 4 families from all over, the home accommodates 15 people very comfortably. We had plenty of space, and occasionally, because the house was so big, we couldn’t always find everyone 😀. All the beds were very comfortable. The house was well stocked with small appliances, dinnerware…etc. We had everything we needed at our fingertips. The kitchen and grill deck were perfect for cooking meals for a large crowd. We loved the fire pit and enjoyed s’mores, and corn hole at dusk! We had one rainy day and drove 25 miles north; 3200ft higher and 10 degrees cooler to the Highlands NC! OMG! This was absolutely beautiful! What a wonderful surprise. We were at the lake one day, and then it felt like we were in Vermont of the south! Great food, great shopping, great people and plenty of things to do! My only request, is this: chefs, butler’s and a masseuse! Seriously though, the vacation was perfect! “ My family and I stay on lake Keowee just about every summer, but no summer has compared to this past summer when we stayed here. The moment we walked through the front doors and saw the breathtaking views of the lake from the kitchen, we knew we made the right choice. From the comfy sofas to the Adirondack chairs, there are a plethora of hangout spots in this home. My kids especially loved the swing on the back porch. Very accommodating lake house for my family and I to come back again next summer! We can’t wait to be back on the lake at this property.”

“ Our family has been visiting Lake Keowee since 2010. As such, we have rented many well appointed homes. However, we have now found our favorite of all time! The attention to every detail is phenomenal, and every single aspect of this exceptional home has a classy and peaceful aura. From the screened porches to the amazingly comfy beds (most of which are King size and an awesome bunk room for the kids), no attention to detail was overlooked. The gorgeous lake views from almost every room, the large gathering areas that can comfortably accommodate multiple generation families, the private niches to escape from others if you need some quiet time, the close proximity to Seneca, West Union, and Clemson for groceries, a night out to dinner, or a movie, the well appointed, gourmet kitchen, the gentle slope for an easy walk to the dock, the outdoor fire pit, the board games, pool table, corn hole, multiple televisions with cable channels, wifi that actually works…we found NOTHING lacking in this tastefully decorated and uncluttered home. Anything that one may need for a relaxing vacation get away can be found here! The owners were helpful, responsive, prompt and a true pleasure with whom to work. Many wonderful memories were made during our stay, and we will ABSOLUTELY return to this fabulous home. Thank you, Fran and Lynn for a perfect week!”

“ What a gorgeous home! I booked our vacation prior to completion of the house, we took a leap of faith that paid off tremendously! Our family of 10 (grandkids, college kids, 30’s and 50’s) all enjoyed every minute of the week spent here. The house is beyond compare! There was plenty of room for all of us to be together or separate! The kitchen is a cooks dream, we kept finding additional cabinets and appliances as the week progressed. Floating in the lake on our LARGE inflatable swans, flamingos and bull was a great way to unwind, followed by cocktails and marshmallows at the fire pit for sunset and then hanging in the game room to end the day. The views are stunning all hours of the day/night. I recommend renting a boat so you can explore the lake as well. My only complaint is that we didn’t stay for two weeks! “ This house on Lake Keowee was the perfect house for a week of relaxation on the lake for our big group. For close to twenty years, my father-n-law has treated us to a vacation week together since both his 2 sons and their families live far away from each other. This summer all 12 of us stayed here for our first visit to Lake Keowee. This large home is decorated with attention to every detail. The décor is luxurious, yet comfortable and clean. Not only is the lake water warm, clear, and clean, this house has a fantastic HUGE waterfront view! The large cove was always quiet so we could enjoy safely floating in the lake without fear of boat traffic. The windows along the entire back of the house provided plenty of shady or sunny spots, depending on your preference, at any point during the day. All of us felt like we had plenty of room to spread out for some quiet time or to come together for games or hanging out. The kayaks and boathouse extend the entertainment space even further. Remember to bring your s’mores kit for a nice evening lakeside by the fire. You won’t even have to remember firewood because the owner has it all ready for you steps away from the fire pit! (These are the kind of details put into this home.) Each bedroom had a super comfy memory foam mattress with inviting soft linens. Our large group had plenty of bed space, and the kids loving having queen beds in the bunkroom! The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes as well as any pots, pans, and utensils we could think of. We love being outdoors, and the enormous double decker porches allowed us to spend many hours enjoying fresh breezes and lake views. You must try out the bed swing on the downstairs porch! “ The property is absolutely beautiful, quiet and relaxing. Property is surrounded by trees, lake view is amazing and the house is spacious and open. Outside seating is available on both levels. We were part of a visit by 8 people and the bedrooms are separated for privacy and each bedroom had access to private bathroom. House is so spacious that early risers could enjoy the deck for coffee and snacks and not disturb the late sleepers. Main kitchen on upper level and smaller kitchen on lower level. “ Our family of 14 recently vacationed at this amazing property. It was the most relaxing and enjoyable vacation we have had in a long time! The house was immaculate and had everything you could ever need to feel comfortable down to the memory foam beds. Pure bliss! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could ever need. There was enough seating for everyone to sit and eat together which is hard to find in a rental for so many people! The incredible porches provided a beautiful, relaxing retreat for both the adults and the children (ages 1-14) in our family. We brought our own boat, and the convenience of launching from the public dock nearby in addition to the trailer storage provided by the owners was an added bonus. We rented paddle boards from Endless Adventures (great customer service and prices!), and the kids and adults in our group loved paddling and using the kayaks provided at the home to visit the nearby sandbars. The kids in our group entertained themselves for hours swimming and paddling around the quiet cove in front of the house and the sandbars. The owners were extremely accommodating in answering our questions before, during, and after our stay. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this amazing home and our stay here. Renters do need to provide their own bath soap, kitchen trash bags, laundry detergent, and automatic dish detergent. Dishes, glasses, and kitchen ware is quite plentiful. Loved the cabinetry that kept house clutter free. Had some WiFi issues but owner helped to resolve them. Exceptional home. Would definitely recommend and hope to return again in the future. “ We were blessed to be able to spend Christmas 2018 at this phenomenal home with our entire family. Warm and cozy on the inside, there is enough room for everyone including the little guys (5/3/1) to spread out and have their own space. The dock is new and amazing and we were able to sit lakeside enjoying the sun. Kayaks are available, and we took advantage of them to explore the lake. The house is extremely well appointed and very well equipped, and we wanted for nothing. The owner, Fran, is friendly and professional, and made our visit that much easier. Our only regret is that it was not warm enough to swim or do some serious boating. It just means that we will have to come back to this home in the summer, which we surely will. “ I fell in love with this home last year when we stayed for a Clemson football weekend and I had to come back to share this spectacular home with another group of friends! Everything about it is amazing. The owners positioned the home on the lot so it offers the most beautiful views of the lake. The interior design is beautiful and the house is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We love the downstairs area to play pool and games and the upstairs large dining table is perfect for group dinners. The yard, fire pit and boat dock are an extra bonus. The only problem is a football weekend is not enough time to enjoy everything this property has to offer since we need to make time to cheer on the Tigers! Owners are amazing to work with! “ This house is incredible. Absolutely incredible. First, it’s in a gated community, which gives you an added layer of security. Once you get to the actual house, you’ll quickly realize you never want to leave. There are 2 private docks on the lake, which has clear water and beckons even the most hesitant lake swimmer. We stayed here in October and even though the outside temps were crisp, the water was still as warm as a bathtub. We had so much fun jumping into the lake from the dock after a night of making s’mores over the fire pit. My companions hiked the woods around the lake in the morning while enjoying a perfect view of the sunrise. There are 2 fireplaces and a professionally designed fire pit on the property. We spent 15 minutes our first night picking up kindling from the woods and were set for the entire trip. The last night of our trip was raining so we opted for the fireplace on the first floor screened in deck – which is complete with a swinging lounger! The bedrooms are luxurious, especially the main floor master. The bathroom is breathtaking and the room leads directly to the main floor screened in porch. I did yoga in the morning to a gorgeous view of the lake. The kitchen is flawless, with professional-grade appliances, a wine fridge and a subzero fridge. Amazing! We had everything we needed to cook our meals. The grill is hooked up to a tank under the house, which means you’ll never run out of propane while cooking. It’s on a covered back porch so you can grill no matter the weather. This house was absolutely fantastic, I’ve stayed at places that were rated 5 stars and weren’t 5 stars – this isn’t one of them. “ We traveled to this home for a Memorial Day weekend with 3 other families and it was the perfect getaway. The home is immaculate and tastefully decorated. It feels relaxing and like you’re on vacation – not like you’ve invaded someone else’s home. It is spacious with great living areas both indoors and out (multiple screened porches), and a great layout for families. Specifically, there are 2 smaller rooms (a bunk room and a room with 2 queens) adjacent to each other which are perfect for kids to share. It also has great lake space and access. There is a fantastic large dock with plenty of room for lounging, and there is great swimming right off the dock. The water was warm and clear and the house was well-stocked with life jackets, noodles and other flotation devices. We rented a boat and really enjoyed boating on the lake. It wasn’t too large or crowded, and the kids had a great time “exploring.” The location is also great – the grocery and boat rental were only 10-15 min away, and it took us less than 2 hours from Atlanta. We will definitely book this property for our next lake trip!”

“ For the second year our family of 15 enjoyed a wonderful week at 915 The Point Drive. The house meets every expectation you might need inside and out. There is lots of room for everyone to be entertained and yet room for privacy too. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need to cook for a large group. The porches are fantastic, great places to relax or work puzzles and read books with little ones. Of course lake activities filled the day with kayak’s provided, paddleboards brought and rented, and a tritoon and wave runner brought. The location is great for children to play safely on the water and nearby shores. The outdoor fire pit is always a special treat for the kids roasting marshmallows. The owners are so helpful when you need information about the house and area and try to meet your every need. “ We just returned from a vacation with extended family and friends in a truly 5-star property. The house sports breathtaking views from the moment you walk in. It was obvious the owners, Fran and Lynn, paid attention to details in every aspect of the house – from the professionally equipped kitchen, the very comfortable beds, multiple cozy porches with fireplaces, ample storage, top of the line laundry facilities, outdoor fire pit and beautiful new dock. To top it off, this place was spotless. A few more comments on the kitchen, it is well stocked with every pan, pot, dish, cup, plate or glass that one would need. Additionally, there was a crock pot, Keurig coffee maker, blender and electric griddle. We all had plenty of activities to keep us busy, from swimming in a beautiful cove bordered by islands and sand “beaches”, kayaking, billiards tournaments and checkers as well as relaxing in early morning and late evening taking in the sights from the beautiful views. We also did quite a bit of exploring of beautiful Lake Keowee on a pontoon boat rented from Island Horses Pontoon rentals ( great prices, new boat and great customer service). The new dock easily accommodated the 18’ pontoon. The owners were friendly, helpful and easy to contact. It is absolutely amazing with all the amenities of home (& more), not to mention an incredible layout for multiple families ( we had five families with 15 total people, crossing three generations)! The quality of construction and the decorating are superior. What we also loved was the location on the lake. The view is big and open, yet a private cove at the same time. “ While the weather did not cooperate with us for most of our stay, the house and property did not disappoint at all. The home’s layout is perfect for a family celebration, giving space to our older children when they wanted it (downstairs with the pool table and mini-kitchen) and many gathering areas on the various screen porches. Since it rained quite a bit, having the flexibility to open or close the screen porch windows was nice as well. The kitchen was very well appointed and provided all that we needed to cook several meals and snacks during our time inside. When the weather finally broke, sitting on the dock and kayaking on the calm water were so relaxing. Great location with shopping nearby. We highly recommend this rental. “ This property is absolutely amazing. We went during off season so it was very quiet on the lake, a little chilly and with some rain. We so enjoyed using the kayaks, nearby waterfall hikes, and cozying up inside by the fireplace on rainy afternoons. We had three families in total and never felt crowded – the home is perfect for spreading out and giving everyone their space, with a big beautiful communal kitchen and dining area where we could all cook and enjoy evenings together. “ Phenomenal home and wonderful hosts! Our three kids, and their kids came back for out second year and it keeps on getting better. Since we are so familiar and comfortable with the home it was so easy to transition into vacation mode and just relax and enjoy the grandkids. There’s so much to do. We rented a pontoon boat for the week, toured the lake, tubed the kids, fished a little and just enjoyed cocktail hour at so many different parts of the lake. Cooking for 4 families was a breeze. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could imagine. We had a team in the kitchen and one on the grill deck pitching in every night. “ We had a total of 14 people staying (ranging from 11 yrs old to 70 yrs old). This home was perfect on so many levels. 1. Clean and spacious (room for everyone to spread out and have their space) 2. Beautifully decorated 3. Full functional kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances. It had everything we needed to cook hearty meals as a family 4. Quiet and cozy cove – allowing the kids to feel safe at swimming. Almost felt like our own private lake area. Water is so clean and clear (absolutely gorgeous) 5. 4 king size beds was a plus – great for adult couples. Mattresses are very soft. 6. We had a boat and 2 jet skis that we brought to the house. The 2 docks were more than ample room to dock our watercrafts. 7. One of the docks has an angled ladder which allowed my 70 year old mother to join all of us in a swim (the angled ladder is helpful for anyone who has been through any knee surgeries or elderly who have problems in range of motion with their legs) 8. Great location – grocery store is only 13 mins away We enjoyed swimming, boating, tubing, jet skiing, fishing, making SMORES around the fire pit and just relaxing and spending time together as a family. The owner was super helpful with information about the area and made sure that he presented us with codes and addresses in perfect time of our arrival. “ My family and I enjoyed 4 days at this beautiful lake house. Living on the coast of South Carolina we have our fair share of beautiful sights but our morning views over the lake were absolutely gorgeous. We have rented many homes on Keowee over the years but have never received such a thorough orientation with all of the suggestions of where to buy food, where to grab lunch and where to hike. Our group consisted of an age range from 85 to 1. We try to gather each year to celebrate our mom’s birthday. She loves having her 2 daughters and their spouses along with her 5 granddaughters and their significant others and her great grandson under one roof for a few days. This house allowed for plenty of togetherness with the great outdoor spaces and then enough private spaces for each family to have quiet time. We look forward to returning next year. “ What an amazing home! The location is about a halfway meeting point for us and family in Florida. We had a group of 6 adults and 4 children (ages 3-10) and certainly had plenty of room to spread out. Almost every part of the home has amazing views of the lake. Kitchen pretty much stocked with anything you would need, so our stay was amazing. Only recommendation to make stay a little easier and this is picky, we don’t always pack shampoo and soap as most of the VRBO properties we stay in supply samples. This is a lake property so I suspect many renters drive there but since we were flying and we carry on it is harder to pack anything over 4oz. “ We’ve been coming to the lake for the past 10 years and this is by far the best home we ever rented. The owners mentioned that they redid all the hardwood floors and kitchen cabinets. The house looked like it was brand new and that we were the first to ever rent it. The multiple outdoor spaces were amazing! Its a big house but we shared the house among 4 couples and we each had our own separate wing when we wanted a bit of quite time to relax.

We brought our boat and stored it in the slip in the second dock. How cool is that. Loved the paddle boards, cocktails on the dock and of course it’s lake Keowee the most beautiful lake in the southeast!

Final thing worth mentioning. We hit a couple of rainy days and the host helped us put together an agenda for a few trips. We ultimately drove north to Highlands NC and had a great time shopping and bar hopping. Topped of the day with a round of pool, a nice hot sauna followed by a wood fire in the lower porch. If you can have a great time when on a few rainy threaten your vacation; that really saying something!

“ The house is absolutely gorgeous and the location on the lake is perfect – you are on big water, but there are sandbars so you avoid boat traffic. We had 4 families so each couple had a king bed, and 2 rooms for the kids. It was perfect. House was super clean and kitchen was well stocked. We had one family that wanted to use the sauna and the owners were very quick to respond to our request. My only suggestion is that, for a house of this caliber, I would have expected a box of tissues in each bathroom along with a starter bar of soap. We would definitely stay here again. “ This was our second stay at this property and it was just as fabulous as the first time! Fran is always available and very responsive to address any questions. Their property has everything you can dream of from a fully stocked kitchen, gas grill, plenty of porch space to gorgeous outdoor spaces. We traveled with a wide age group from 15 months to 87. Most of our group never left the property. Three of us left for my daughter’s Clemson graduation which was a nice 30 minute drive. It was a wonderful place for us to gather to celebrate our daughter, Grayson, and also our mom and aunt for an early Mother’s Day. After returning home, I received a message from Fran that her cleaners had located an iPad which ended up being my 87yo aunts. She was kind enough to mail it back to us.
